DOVE GIOCARE A GOLF IN ITALIA. WHERE TO PLAY GOLF IN ITALY - GC MARGARA

Cominciamo dalla fine. Che campo spettacolare!!!

Non hai ancora avuto l'occasione di giocarci? Allora creala, ne vale veramente la pena.

Siamo al GC Margara, nel cuore del Piemonte, nel Monferrato a pochi chilometri da Asti e Alessandria, terra famosa per vini pregiati e slow food.

Il club ha 2 percorsi, quello rosso, storico e quello giallo, nuovo e con un disegno più moderno. Entrambe sono percorsi da campionato.

Ho giocato sul percorso rosso e le buche sono esaltanti, con sali e scendi, fairway larghi, molto curati, green difesi a destra e sinistra da bunkers, con un piccolo spazio nel mezzo per passare con un approccio a correre, altrimenti l'unica chance è centrarlo, con molta precisione, di volo.

Ogni buca è una cartolina, il rough è tenuto molto in ordine e se non giochi precisissimo, puoi recuperare.

Si potrebbe parlare di ognuna di loro, ma è bello scoprirle di persona. 

L'unica nota è per la buca 8, hcp 1, la più difficile. Arrivi, la vedi e ti dici: "A vederla così, non sembra particolarmente difficile". Sarà, ma eravamo in 4 e abbiamo collezionato una X (la mia), 2 doppi bogey e 1 bogey.

Il resto del circolo è curatissimo in tutti i dettagli: il ristorante è di qualità top, la club house è classica e molto elegante, così come la piscina, sempre bella da utilizzare al termine di una giornata di golf.

Se arrivate da lontano, il club offre interessanti soluzioni anche per brevi soggiorni.

I've played the Red Course that has a challenging layout where accuracy is more important than distance. The well-protected greens are large, welcoming and well maintained, giving a true putting surface.

The holes are amazing and to take pictures is a temptation, but it's better to stay focused.

All the amenities are top, from the restaurant to the locker room, from the club house to the pool, to appreciate at the end of a round of golf.

The club offers interesting solutions to rest, choosing between foresteria or apartments.
